I remember you posting that article. It was talking about some 10 Kurds or so and there was mention of some motive I cannot remember but it was obviously not genocide. We talked about this before. I wish you would not bring it up again, especially without the original article.

Come on, E.T... Why would the Iraqi military fire on their own citizens??? I watch news from all over the world and none of them has mentioned no Iraqi military firing on no Iraqi citizens.
If you are so sure, can you tell me how many Iraqi citizens the Iraqi military has killed so far? Don't tell me they fired on civilians and couldn't manage to kill any...

Declaring war on and invading a country imperils the citizenry, especially when they decide to resist, an outcome obviously unexpected by the deluded chickenhawks who saw war only in movies where Americans were the heroes.
I'd say the West's media comes closer to the truth than the arab media.
It seems you cannot be persuaded by examples - noise of disinformation from US media (Saddam dead, his second man defected, Umm Qasr taken over the first day, etc etc etc) and the fact that the only real info from what is going on on the ground (except for pretty pictures of explosions in the night and friendly natives) is coming from Arab sources. That is where we learned of the missiles blowing up the market place, Saddam being alive, Umm Qasr resisting for days, helicopter down, American captives.
Where was the US media when all that was happening? It was only after the pictures came out that they had to accept.
I'm only reading the english copy, maybe the Arab version is more objective, lol.
So funny. My understanding is that you do not use the Arab news sources but look around to find material for the biased commentary and the inhuman acts they might be professing. |
