Apparently Saddam has been very effective in the last twelve years in breaking their will and convincing them that we are not to be trusted. Yes, we are 12 years too late I fear. The horrors these people must have endured. It's a shame that Bush Sr. didn't have the determination of his son to go against the "give peace a chance" crowd at the U.N.
