2003 AllPredictive Market Forecast white paper Thank you to all of you who made the last month's "2003 AllPredictive Market Forecast Challenge" a great success. For those who were not members at that time, we threw a challenge to our members to try to make more accurate predictions than professional analysts did. We asked them to predict the values of major market indices on March 31 and December 31 of this year. This paper summarizes those finding and compares them with analyst consensus forecasts published by Business Week. The results of the survey are member consensus predictions that are quite different from analyst consensus. The "Challenge" participants had analyst consensus forecasts available when they were making their predictions. We were quite surprised to see that our members did not get influenced by them and made their own choices. We have summarized the results - member's predictions and their comparison to analysts' predictions - and added a discussion as to why it may be so in "2003 AllPredictive Market Forecast" white paper.
