Rumsfeld just said that the Syrians are assisting Iraq with nightvision goggles and that some Iranian forces might be joining in the fight along side the Iraqis. Ugggh! This might get ugly if we drawn other arab nations into this war. In any case, every radical muslim who wants to take on the U.S. will be filtering their way into Iraq to fight along side their arab brothers. I hope this war ends soon or it's going to get really ugly and cause some serious long term damage.
