imo...Most of those who are second guessing this plan for going up to Iraq center are those who bomb Iraq for three weeks the first time.
I expect Suddam figured he had a few weeks once bombing began in order to blow up the oil wells, spill oil into the harbor, mine the harbors etc.. I figure he was taken by surprise as a result of this plan...
Rummey says today.. they found many oil wells with timers and wired ,, but no explosives...
Imo it is because of the sudden movement up the center of the Iraq and not waiting.
