Ibexx and Intel Investors - Re: "Formal Introduction of 0.25 micron Pentium MMX"

Intel should be having a formal launch of the Pentium MMX, low voltage/low power/high speed device, made on the new 0.25 micron process.

Tentative plans call for Monday, September 8, 1997 as the launch date.

I would expect a "few" notebook manufacturers to be present at the launch announcing the immediate (on Sept. 8) availability of their notebook computers with the 200/233 MHz chips. A few Tier 1 suppliers may be among these. (Hint - they will not be discussing K6 products!)

I don't know the location, if any, for the roll out but I'll be on the lookout for that information real soon.
