I am very serious about the blindness.

6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs,
and of the same body,
and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

The reason people don't get it is that they do what the Jews always did.

Why did the Jews fail to see Christ as their KING???

They - like all futurist - look for a physical manifestation
and a carnal throne on EARTH.

The throne is not on EARTH in a physical nation called Israel.

The bible plainly teaches that this prophecy of David's throne
is fulfilled by Christ being seated IN HEAVEN at the right hand of God.

To be carnally minded is to be spiritually blind to the fulfillments
of what God has promised and done.

Here is what the Apostles said...

If you do not believe me PLEASE believe them....

Acts 2:30 Being therefore a prophet,
and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him,
that of the fruit of his loins
he would set one upon his throne;

31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ,
that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

The apostles plainly teach that this prophecy of
Christ being seated upon the throne of David
WAS FULFILLED in the RESURRECTION of CHRIST!!

Will you argue with their interpretation???

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted,
and having received of the Father the promise
of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

having received of the Father = PAST TENSE

Christ was seated upon that promised throne of David at the
Father's right hand HAVING ALREADY RECEIVED...

Am I serious?

Yes Alan

I am VERY VERY serious
