Ref <News reports this PM say that Iraq had planned terrorist attacks on the US well prior to our invasion > Zero credible public evidence on this issue ! Ref < al quaida operatives are fighting us in Iraq > I am not aware of any al Qaida operatives in Saddam controlled Iraq. The Al Qaida operatives are north in Kurdish regions outside Saddam's control. How come those regions were outside Saddam's control ? Because USA enforces a No Fly zone and does not allow Saddam's operatives to enter those regions. All the evidence linking Iraq to Al Qaida and terrorism is speculative.Maybe Rumsfeld & Co know better, and have intelligence which says otherwise. But given Rumsfeld's recent glaring lapses of judgement, I have serious doubts.
