Bush is guaranteed because:
1) By fighting the class war, the Democrats have managed to keep the Clinton/Rubin economic disaster around THEIR necks, whereas, when there is a LOYAL opposition, they are often able to transfer economic blame to the incumbent. The people simply don't trust Democrats enough on EITHER economics or foreign affairs to give them serious consideration anymore.
2) The Democrats overt and public displays of TREASON since 91101, especially since the period leading up to and including the current war, has absolutely FINISHED them in states where they either ran close, or even won, in 2000. I expect the Dems can still get traction in NE and California, but they are SO DEAD everywhere else that their hope of electing a presidential ticket-no matter who's on it, is a pipe dream. They are, in short, the political Dixie Chicks of 2004. People will be sneaking out of hospices, and struggling to the polls on crutches, to vote against them...
The worst part is that the Dems don't even realize the extent of their self-immolation. They are acting insane, and I belive that is the natural consequence of selling out to totalitarians for so many decades... |
