Your thinking may be true IF "Greater Israel" is no longer the long term goal of the Zionist state There is no more likelihood for a "greater Israel" than there is for a "greater Syria"... Obviously there are people in every country who dream of conquest and territorial expansion. Israel is little different... But claiming there is a serious effort to created a "greater Israel" being represented in Israeli policy, is like saying their is a serious effort by the imperialist US government to expand it's territory.. The Israeli people, who drive the politics in that country, just want security and peace. It's the despots and unelected tyrants who have visions of conquest and subjugation dancing in their heads.
