Bushies are telling us a BIG LIE. If you listen to propaganda spin artists Hannity and Limbaugh closely you can pick out their sly tactics. They don't actually come out and blanketly lie but slightly couch their inflammatory statements. Then, they cover themselves in the flag ("I believe in loyalty and our president, land of the free"), God and evil (He gassed his own people, tortured and raped), stove calling kettle black (look at KKK Byrd, we're not racists).
The effect is to express the RNC and Bush are God-like warriors for everything right and good, and Democrat "liberals" (even if they're not liberal) are in league with the devil, Saddam, Osama, France, North Korea, whatever the boogey man of the day is. It is such a lie, but they dont care. They love telling the lie over and over.
The only solution for this is to vote out Bush in 2004 and change the dialogue in this country. Put Hannity and Limbaugh out of business by proving to them they hurt not help their own cause by keeping us from having a real debate in this country. But they dont want a debate, they want "my way or the highway", total dominance, sort of like a dictatorship. They really dont like free spech at all, unless it's their own right to spew one-sided propaganda. |
