Is is the right thing to do to report the truth or to lie to Americans? That is the question many in the press are cofnronting. Remember in Vietnam we got many rosy reports about how we were winning, backed by inflated body count numbers every day. Including civilian deaths in our enemy KIA reports. So was that right? In support of the war effort? Or wrong because it prolonged a costly mistake?
