I did not couch them as facts. I made it clear they were my opinions. (that's what the "I think...." and the "I see" are supposed to tell you. But if you cannot infer from that what I am implying- then let me tell you- it's ALL MY OPINION- and I didn't mean to keep it a secret or anything)

I'm not sure opinions "portray" anything. Perhaps you mean "contain"? And there, again, we have a fine unsupported opinion. Your logic is only evident to you and people who think like you, I would guess. People who disagree with you about the presence of logic in your posts are probably plentiful on this thread. Now you could say insulting things about those people and their opinions of your logic, but that would be just more unsupported opinion, right? On to your other point- We don't know that the network of terrorists in this country has been disrupted. I am sure we hope they have, but we don't "know" it. We didn't know 9/11 was going to happen, and if something else like that is in the works, we won't know it until it happens, imo, and judging from past experience. I live here because I like freedom.
It would not, imo, be better to do nothing- unless the something you are planning to do is worse than nothing. |
