Where are the environmentalists? They should be praising the war plan. If we hadn't gone in early, risking the lives of all our SOFs and regular ground forces, there would surely be many, many more oil wells on fire (causing terrible air pollution) and probably another gigantic oil spill (actually oil 'dump' would be more accurate) in the gulf. Of course, we didn't do it just for environmental reasons. A large part of it was to save money by not having to rebuild as much stuff afterward. But averting environmental disaster was surely a factor. They could have easily waited until all the troops were in the region before moving the ground troops in. Just bomb for a month like last time. Bush, the TRUE environmentalist. JJ
