To start, I think the military was pissed off they got bombed and are frustrated at not having clearly defined national targets to go after that were responsible.

What in hell are you talking about? This above sentence makes zero sense.

they decided that Saddam was bad enough and the easiest target to go after since almost everyone recognizes him to be a ruthless dictator.

Right. It would have been great to have gotten him. Sorry, it may not have worked. That's life.

The sad fact is that the creators of the "weapons of mass destruction" of 9/11 were Boeing and American Airlines, not Saddam. If any country was responsible, it's our "ally", Saudi Arabia.

This statement is reflective of your lack of of understanding of the Middle East and the anti-Americanism that led up to 9/11. You really would do yourself a favor to come up to speed on it. I recommend you read some of Tom Friedman's stuff (while I dont' agree with him about everything, he has, more than any other person, uncovered the basis for 9/11 and fully comprehends that the war in Iraq is a critical point in the fight against similar, future attacks).

That frustration has led to bad timing, bull-headiness, and calcification of opinions that is more damaging to U.S. interests than Saddam could hope to be.

This remark is clueless. Sorry, I don't know of a nice way to say it. You are clearly emotionally moved by the liberal media reports.
