its being made to look like we are slaughtering the people.

Sure, in the liberal media you so aptly defend.

It sure looked like slaughter on FOX as well. What? Did you think the conservative media has special cameras that made dead bodies look like a celebration.

So what?

So what? The more it looks like slaughter, the more the Arab world is encouraged to help Saddam. Do you want that, O Wise One?

It doesn't matter how careful you are, Al Jazeera is going to paint the United States as baby killers. Period. If we don't kill civilians, Saddam will kill them and Al Jazeera will report it as though we did. So we can just do the best we can.

That's not good enough. You all wanted this war to protect our future. You are not protecting our future if the rest of the world sees this as a slaughtering of Saddam and his people. When you will you get this basic of all concepts? You can win this war and lose completely the war of public opinion...........and that's at least as critical as getting Saddam. And don't come back with your nonsense that you don't care what the world thinks.....that's more stinkin' thinkin' that gets the US nowhere fast.

To suggest that 1% isn't sufficient is just plain dumb. No nation in history has ever made these kind of extraordinary efforts.

I don't give a shit.....its not good enough when you start a preemptive war. God, how dense are you?

into a crowded marketplace in a poor district of Bagdad that seemingly has no military value.

There is no credible evidence that one of our missles "slammed into a crowded marketplace". Obviously, you got this courtesy Peter Arnet & Wolf Blitzer. Or was it "the Guardian"?

You're right; its another conspiracy story to make the US look bad. I understand now how conservatives get into it up to their eyeballs.

<>I>Well, by your view of things, the war should be over by the end of April.

Actually, my guess is mid-May. But it could be mid-April, could be mid-June, could be next June. Sooner is better, but it will be done when it is done.

Let's hope for end of April.
