< Delbert Tellecomuting is the obvious answer. That the so-called lovers of nature are not screaming and demanding this shows that their goal is power not saving the environment. >

That's exactly what my sister in Wisconsin has been doing for years. She once had to drive to St. Lukes hospital in Milwaukee to work as a transcriber. She now "punches in" at home and sets her own hours. She chooses to start at 6 A.M., and is finished about 2:30 P.M., with the rest of the day free. The hospital frees up a parking space, and she avoids traffic (1 hour more free time), fuel cost and dressing up. It's a win win for her and the hospital. There was no fan fare, they ust did it. One girl move back to Michigan, but she still "works" at St. Lukes.

It's hard to see how I can build houses by telecommuting. There are also a lot of people who can't motivate themselves at home, and need the surroundings at work to do their best work. Whatever. I'm for it just as you are.
