That's about the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
You're an expert in these thing? Industrialization only came about 80 years ago and modern day pollution came with it. The Earth's environment is being challenged in a greater way than it's ever been before... I grant you that ultimately the environment would recover after Man phases himself out (which is a distinct possibility). Scientists are raising alarm bells about mass extinctions which are just around the corner, thanks to global warming and habitat destruction. The crap we're throwing at it is damaging to our health. We are part of the environment. You should study a little bit about it. Of course, politics doesn't impair your judgement. Nah! Corporations do everything in Mankinds interest and technology will solve everything.
