TVIN, Gary here is more good news regarding TVI...

A Maryland company is cleaning up through these troubled times. Emily Schmidt gives us a tour. TVI Corporation in Prince George's County works to wash away the threat of chemical warfare. Customers - including the military - are buying into what's become an 11-million dollar business.

It's amazing what can happen in five seconds. That's all the time it takes to roll out a shelter from the unthinkable.

Rick Priddy / TVI Corporation President: "We feel we play a small part in protecting citizens in the United States."

Rick Priddy heads TVI Corporation - the Glenn Dale business makes decontamination shelters, which can clean up a dangerous mess.

Rick Priddy / TVI Corporation President: "There are many situations related to chemical, biological exposure in many situations."

Business is coming together like never before. 82 employees are having a tough time keeping up with demand - these tents will go to hospitals, fire departments and the military. After the Pentagon attack, TVI set up tents to clean up after biological hazards.

Rick Priddy / TVI Corporation President: "This is where they would go."

And while American troops worry about warfare gas attacks, if the worst happens, there could be a TVI tent waiting nearby.

Rick Priddy / TVI Corporation President: "They're moved into the decon area where the person is sprayed with a decon solution."

Sanitizing up to 800 soldiers an hour in assembly-line style. A big tent costs 80-thousand dollars smaller tents half that. In a time where the world warns of danger ahead, this Maryland business is proud to offer some shelter from the storm.

Rick Priddy / TVI Corporation President: "It's caused everyone in the US to look at the threat a lot more seriously, and people are preparing in ways they hadn't before."

Massachusetts just purchased 92 decontamination tents for statewide use - Maryland is also putting in an order to buy. TVI reports its revenue up 166 percent since 2001.
