I hope someone caught the whole conference call and can report. When I joined a question was being asked about their new distribution setup in Japan and what were their expectations. The questioner pressed for numbers but was only told that they hoped for results proportional to their success in Spain. They are working on distribution in Europe but still in early stages. They had a distributor in Korea who had sent them some good business in the past but has apparently dropped off the face of the earth. On a trip to Japan someone will look into Korean situation. The rest of the discussion was about the new biologic products which are discussed in the following press release which I don't think was ever posted on this thread. hawkassociates.com They will begin some tests of the bone graft products in 1997 and plan to introduce in first quarter 1998. Sofamor/Danek has patent rights to the same material for spinal repairs and will be to market before Exactech markets their bone graft product which is based on the same patent but different. The UF Tissue Bank is building a supply of material. He said it would be 2-3 years before the cartilage repair product would be ready. There was also a question about return on investment on the new building but the answer was very circuitous. Wish I had more to offer. Maybe someone else heard the call and will add to this. Bob
