Outstanding analysis Ike! I couldn't agree more. I would only add a stronger emphasis on the strategy of saving American lives. The press seems to totally lack the understanding of how our air power correlates to saving our ground troops lives. Every artillery, tank, and weapon taken out by the air, is one less weapon our ground troops will have to face. Saving American lives is the most important criteria of this strategy. I hope the generals don't fall prey to the gloom and doom press and stay the steady course of taking Saddam's forces apart piece by piece... When he's left with rifles, a few tanks, and some artillery, the ground forces will crush the remaining elements.
