Always an excellent team, Kansas. Played in what was clearly the toughest conference in the country this year. In other words, they beat a lot of "somebodys" this year, and lost to some excellent teams. Great coach who seems not to take the teams most likely to succeed as far as he takes the ones that are not. Crean came out of Western Kentucky, I think. Definitely one of the best coaches in the country, in my opinion. Marquette better figure out how to hold on to him. My gut tells me the Kentucky position will be open shortly, and that crew down there is not going to accept a non-white coach again. Crean's white, so he's qualified. Poor Tubby will get the blame for the loss last night, and my gut tells me he'll end up at UCLA or try the pros.
