The WTC a direct result of the coward Clinton and our weakened military.

I don't know how you can say that. Clinton had been out of office for 9 months when 9/11 happened. The Bush adminstration had plenty of time to get their act together and defend the nation against terrorists threats. We're not talking 9 weeks, we're talking 9 months. And Bush was in office the day the 9/11 attacks occurred. Whatever military response occurred (more like didn't occur) on that fateful day rests on Bush's shoulders. What the hell was the U.S. military, who's primary goal is suppossed to be the defense of this country (not engaging in military endevours around the world), doing on 9/11? They weren't scrambling fighter jets. Defense Secretary Rumsfeld was working quietly in his office. The head of the Joints Chiefs of Staff, General Myers, was in a meeting with Senator Max Cleland. And President Bush was reading to schoolchildren. What lame leadership when the country is experiencing an unprecedented attack. The buck stops with Bush.
