With all due respect, you have no idea what the "rationale" for this war is. You won't until it's over and the history books are written. Then you'll know. I'll give you a bit of a clue, just because I like this debate. Two senior administration officials have stated recently that they see "no credible evidence" that Saddam is actually alive. Why do you think these two officials would both come out at the same time and give that same message? Hint: it could be part of the war strategy, and it's not an accident. He really is a threat to our security, by the way. He really is. I guess you'll have to trust me on that, if you can.

The market is forming a long-term bottom after the insanity at the end of Slick's tenure, and things are right on track. If you're buying stocks for the long term, start buying right now, and stretch your buys over the next 6-12 months. You'll thank me in ten years even if we are still bitching at each other.
