Late-term abortion? It's a right-wing gimmick issue, like flag-burning, the liberal equivalent is cross-burning, or allowing individuals to own bazookas, rarely ever happens, is an insult to Kerry's intelligence, and was going to pass anyway. Like asking the question "Do you still beat your wife?" Either way you vote you cannot win. Kerry is a moderate represnting all Americans now. He supports Roe V. Wade but is not going to get in pissing contests with skunks. Just smart. He was also recuperating from surgery at the time. He needed rest. If I were a Senator I'd have skipped that vote too unless my vote was a deciding one. Then I'd hold my nose and vote. A real stinkeroo issue that means practically nothing. And can you believe the right-wing wanted to outlaw it even if the mother is going to die? Great defenders of women they are huh? Dont even want to give the woman the choice whether she dies or not giving birth. And all written by right-wing men.
