TOKYO (CBS.MW) - Asian stock markets tumbled Monday as reports of disagreements among military planners in the war against Iraq sparked fears that the conflict may be longer and harder than anticipated.

Tokyo's Nikkei was one of the big losers in the region, hurt by developments in Iraq as well as Wall Street's third consecutive slide on Friday and poor economic data at home.
