Powell speech to AIPAC just delivered I find no text, either summary or verbatim, yet on the internet ... here are MY impressions of what I found to be a "verrrrrrrry interesting" speech ... a) Terhan/Iran had best toe the line or there will be trouble b) Damascus/Syria had best not continue to be an adversary via active contributions or there will be trouble c) TelAviv/Israel is due security and peace d) TelAviv/Israel is/has been/will be a friend and ally of the USA e) Palestine is due security, peace AND their own separate country f) Israel and Palestine will need to get along with each other PERIOD .. with EACH having a safe, secure country ... hmmmmmmmmmmm of course, that is a very simple summary of a complex speech of vast implication and message which has been reported to this erudite thread from a simple minded senile old man (me) .... but, that is the way I heard it ..... and again, I say .... hmmmmmmmmmm
