Actually Clinton left office with 60% APPROVAL ratings, not just favorable ratings. That is better than Bush's last pre-war poll. No reason to revile Clinton, he gave us the best economy in history. We're just disappointed in his sexual mores and the GOP creeps who went into his dirty underwear posing as "the law".
