Unclewest, I have a lot more respect for our combat vets than I do for Rumfeld. You are not alone. BUT. One of the reasons we are one of the few countries never to have had a military coup in the entire history of our nation is because we firmly recognize that the military is always, and at all times, subservient to the civilian authorities. Always. Personally, I like it that way. It may mean that we get Rumsfeld making decisions the combat vets could make better. But if that's the price, so be it. The alternative is far, far worse.
