Having been shown on TV isn't a total guarantee of safety. Still I like the chances of those soldiers over any who have simply disappeared and are held captive.

It's an odd argument though. It can be argued that this US action is naked aggression and illegal having no coverage from the United Nations. Yet the US position is "we've unilaterally decided to invade you country and damn it you will play by our rules".

So far the Bush administration is holding the high moral ground with their constant barrage of propaganda. If they lose the battle of "morals" then all is lost for them because it's the only coverage they have. The biggest risk they face is the wider populace realizing that US bombs maim and kill too and that this is one ugly adventure.
