An embedded reporter from the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, Carl Prine, called a local talk show this morning, in this 5 minute discussion, there were two rather remarkable facts: 1. He has witnessed Iraqi's dancing in the streets - he has pictures. 2. The Iraqi populace is actively helping the coalition forces by providing intelligence regarding Iraqi troops, weapons, fedayeen etc. - quite detailed and specific information - where they are, who they are etc. Time will tell, but I suspect that many reporters are not reporting these things in order to protect the lives of the civilians - since there are now multiple stories of civilians who are friendly being executed. The latest being a teenage girl who waved to the British troops who was later found hanged.
