Oh now, you're being ridiculous. One soldier talking of shortages is one too many. Stop defending incompetence.

It would not be "incompetence" if one soldier was "talking of" shortages. Obviously, you're clueless about the process.

Yes, Gen. Ray......how could I have ever doubted your view behind those rose colored glasses?!!

there's a reason why they call the supply line 'ambush alley' but I will let you figure that one out on your own.

I think reasonable people will look at the casualty count and draw their own conclusions.

The casualty count ave. per day is now equal or slightly higher than the Gulf War ave. and we have not gotten into the heavy fighting yet.

I never said it was a crisis but it is a problem of Rummy's war plan that needs to be dealt with.

Let's be honest. This war is proceeding with AMAZING success. AMAZING.

AMAZING? Did you read that in the Nat. Review 'cause that is not the general consensus. The war so far is below expectations. Its not a failure by any measure but its encountering a lot of problems that it did not anticipate at all.

It would not matter how well it was going, you would NEVER give Rumsfeld credit for its success.

Rummy is everything I dislike in a person. However, I will give him his due when its deserved. His foray into Afghanistan is mostly successful. We will see how this one goes.

However, already we are seeing a lack of consensus among the generals. Once again this administration has managed to be devisive. Its becoming a familiar theme.
