We shouldn't be surprised. Bush never had a serious interest in a domestic agenda except
carving up the country's resources for his big campaign contributors. In short, Bush has
two passions: war and cutting taxes for the rich. Oh yeah!. He's into giving out
government handouts for his religious groups, too.

As far as ANWR and other legislation goes, I read in the Washington
Post:"several Republicans said Bush has paid little
attention to events on Capitol Hill since the war began."

When he isn't at war, still war remains the only subject that Bush talks about. He can't
do anything else. War is his momentum. It keeps him going along with working out in the gym,
and running around Camp David for hours on end. Maybe, Xanax is also a crutch. M. Dowd
wrote an article called, "The Xanax Cowboy."

When confronted by US governors recently about money for the states--like keeping the public
schools open---I saw Bush's reply on tv: We have a recession and war! What
he left unsaid was: screw the American public.

Rumor had it that prominent people were drafting an Impeach Bush petition
a few weeks ago. Do you know if it is true?
