I joined the DDIM short team today, 2000 SHS @ $22 5/8. Tried to short yesterday, but ETrade had no shares. Paine Webber did today! I agree with all the bad omens you state, now let's peek at the financial statements: Other Income (Investments from IPO) - 9.3% of Income before tax and dropping! Cash & Mkt Sec. (current assets) down 32.5% in 6 months! Investment in securities avail for sale (non-current assets) down $993K in six months to $0. Investment in product development still around $2,2M? If these products are being sold, they must be capitalized and depreciated over the useful life or expensed during the period of occurance (such as Microsoft has done since day one). If depreciated over 2 years (very conservative), aproximately $275,000 of expense would have been on the Income Statement! Advanced Billings (deposits on contracts not revenue recognized) down to $260K from 990 at year end! This was not a great quarter over last quarter. This years 6 month revenues to last years 6 month revenues and net income are useless. I did not hold true to my word that I would no longer post on this thread, other people don't so I'm back in. Flame me if you wish! Remember, I was the idoit who was looking for Ardes 2k CD-ROMs in mid-towm manhattan after reading and believing some posts. I believe that the financials speak for themselves. The big y2k companies, such as Computer Associates will crush the little guys out. Longs and shorts please be carefull! :) BellBoy
