According to reports, many NEW suicide bombers are being recruited now throughout the Middle East and the terrorists are having lots of success doing it. This should concern us all. Not only now but after we take Iraq and try to police it, these terrorists will be striking. Partially because of the way Bush rushed into this war with his hard-line Zionist advisors who remind the Arabs of Sharon.

I know we are trying to be humanitarian, but this is the perfect example of why UN and a broad coalition support (including some Arab nations) was the way to go with this war. We should have also made a much bigger effort to make peace in Israel first. Though job but worth doing.

There really was no rush. We could have waited. But now it's too late and we just need to cross our fingers. Hopefully this strategy will succeed somehow, but right now it looks more "reckless" than "bold". Betting the farm on a risky quasi-unilateral gambit. And boy oh boy it is costing our economy, the entire world economy, and our alliances which we need for many other reasons. That's where better diplomacy was the key to success. Not just in Iraq but around the world going forward. Many fences to mend for the next president.
