Lefties dont matter much in the general election.
About 7.5% of the voters by my estimation. Everyone else is a hybrid, Clinton or post-Clinton style moderate-liberals, independents leaqning left and right on various issues. The country has changed. What will win in 2004 is the man who can convince the middle that he is the common sense man to lead us out of this economic morass we're in.
