well, he has shown himself to be very well read and rich in experience to say the least. opinionated? absolutely. confident too. i think he and i would likely get along for all of about 1 minutes, and then we would start to get on each others nerves. but... i appreciate his unyielding sense of humour (i am sure that to eric, it does not matter who gets it) and his willingness to share knowledge and opinion. there is a pretty wide spectrum of personalities here at si, and i am hard pressed to dislike any of them. most everybody eventually grows on me. if a forum was meant to only attract like minds that share the same views... well it would get dry in a hurry. take care martin
