Emile, God has not "transferred" the covenants and promises made to Israel in the past to the "Church, the body of Christ" I realize that ideas such as this are popular, but they are not what God teaches us to think in Romans 11. I repeat, The Church the body of Christ is NOT replacing Israel in God's plan and purpose and is therefore not an 'assumer' or fulfiller of God's covenants and promises to Israel. James
