Just chronicling our track record. Yesterday it was anyone who would wave a finger at Russia, today it's anyone who claims to have found al Qaeda dung on one of their mountain passes:

Oh BS!! You're just trying to avoid acknowleging any points whereby this war is justified by using straw man logic... And that's just intellectually dishonest..

Saddam had his chance. He was "bad", invaded a friendly country, was defeated, cheated on the cease fire agreement, lied about his chemical weapons caches until 1995, has over 16 UN resolutions it has refused to comply with... etc..

That's was MORE than ample opportunity to "shape up"....

Since he hasn't done so, he's in violation of the cease fire that ended Desert Storm. That's means THE WAR IS BACK ON AND HE'S GETTING SHIPPED OUT (if he hasn't been already).

Our new bedfellows [that we've never met] in Uzbekistan are slated for 45 million while their security forces are accused of outright torture of any opposition. Pakistan lines up for 75 million in C-130 Cargo planes and F16 parts.

Listen.. think it through... if we sell them stuff, then we have some say in how they use it... They have to be cautious lest they embarrass us... And if they go too far, we stop selling them spare parts and their stuff stops working...

If someone else sells them weapons, then we have NO control...

As I said a long time ago... we simply have basic disagreements about how humans should interact.

Obviously.. I look at the reality and you're viewing human relations through rose colored lenses...

Humanity is pretty brutish when you let it be... And such brutishness cannot be fought with kind thoughts and endless dialogue.
People like you prefer talk because "if you're talking, you're not fighting"...

People like Saddam talk because they are biding their time until they catch you off-guard and can cut your throat.
