this is a new begining in International Relations

Like a broken clock, it seems so are you right every once in a while.

Yes, it is a new beginning in "International Relations". A new era where international will is snickered against by the powerful, who then proceeds to do whatever the hell it wants, breaking treaties, fabricating "proofs", and flat out lying. It is the era of the "preemptive strikes" (read unprovoked aggression) based on fantasies of a distant, imagined, probably unforthcoming, threat.

It is a historic moment. Remember this some years later, when your country's disrespect for peaceful solutions, international treaties, and advocation of "preemptive strikes" leads to increased violence, aggression, and of course, terrorism.

Americans are getting to be so very unpopular that I wouldn't be surprised if they don't ever leave North America in a near future. Le Monde published a poll yesterday where only 53% of French hope US/UK will win in Iraq - 17% say they really wish a US/UK victory, while 37% say they'd prefer one.

Have fun playing kiddie games, inventing phrases like "Freedom Fries". The world is becoming a far more dangerous place for Americans, and you are sleeping through this frightening transition.
