Why is the mainstream media not reporting on this blatant conflict of interest on its front pages ? Mainstream media is a form of mass entertainment, and is directed by marketing departments. And this is true not only in the US. I can hardly think of a conversation I've either had or overheard since the war started where this conflict of interest hasn't been mentioned, so I wouldn't worry about the American public being uninformed about this. It's even been in the media anyway, just not on the front page day after day. In short, people are somewhat cynical and aware of these things in general.
