AO MOSENERGO launched training for electricians from mobile grid repair teams The training is held from March 31 to April 10 at the training center of AO MOSENERGO's Colomna Distribution Grids. AO MOSENERGO’s Moscow Staff Training Center (MSTC) has developed the training program. Eighteen electricians will take this training course. MSTC trainers and experienced specialists from AO MOSERNERGO will carry out the training. Computers and real equipment are used at the sessions. During the training electricians will test solutions to practical tasks, perform emergency switching and become acquainted with new types of power equipment currently used at AO MOSENERGO, including relay protection and automated systems. The professional training for electricians from mobile grid repair teams is held twice a year. In addition to this training MSTC also holds courses for distribution grid dispatches. In total, MSTC annually trains up to 25,000 specialists. Each AO MOSENERGO employee takes training courses as often as once in three years. From 1990 MSTC has held interdivisional competitions for specialists from power stations and grid divisions. This helps AO MOSENERGO increase the professionalism of its employees.
