Yes, the difference is they are being misled... most likely by the media and news sources they have available to them into thinking they are "fighting" for something worthwhile... Or do you believe what is being spewed by the Iraqi information directorate? Do they know which side is telling the truth? In some if not most cases, no... they just see another battle, and one in which their homeland is being "invaded". Will they see the difference after the war, when they are given the opportunity to govern themselves? Most likely, yes. See the difference?
