BTW, when our forces weren't chipping away, people died anyway - at the hands of Saddam. Do their deaths count less because they don't help your anti-Bush crusade?

The point is that the iraqi people don't want us there. It doesn't matter what Saddam is or isn't, or how many iraqis he has killed, that is their concern, not the US's.

We entered the region based on one premise which is our business, the assertion that iraq had WMDs. Well, they don't (or they don't appear to). Now the US has destabilized the entire region which is a powder keg anyway.

How can you defend this?

Please don't bring up how many people SH has killed, everybody knows that, so what. There are many many other regions with dictators just as vile.
