my husband's grandparents made it to their 70th wedding anniversary... he died at 88 and she died within the year at the age of 89. same story, very much in love, not that they didn't have a few disagreements...but they were pretty much adorable with each other....(and everyone else) i was indeed privileged to know them quite well and spend much time with them it's nice to hear we still have "those" love stories alive and well. :)
