Former Revlon Chief Administrative Officer Joins Senetek PLC As Executive Vice President and General Counsel

NAPA, Calif., April 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Senetek PLC (Nasdaq: SNTK - News), (www.senetekplc.com), a healthcare technologies company focused on developing and co-marketing products applicable to the anti-aging markets in key skin care/dermatologicals and sexual dysfunction categories worldwide, today announced the appointment of Wade H. Nichols, former Revlon, Inc. (NYSE: REV - News) Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, as General Counsel and Executive Vice President, Corporate Development for Senetek.
Mr. Nichols spent 23 years in positions of increasing responsibility with Revlon, the global marketer of consumer products that is one of Senetek's principal licensees. Mr. Nichols also served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Revlon and had extensive involvement in debt and equity financings, bank borrowings, licensing, human resources, administration, e-commerce, public relations, and mergers and acquisitions including the acquisition of seven major public and private companies in the pharmaceuticals, proprietary drug, ophthalmic products and medical diagnostics sectors as well as major cosmetics businesses including Almay and Max Factor.
Mr. Nichols received a B.A. cum laude from Yale University in 1964 and an LL.B. cum laude from Columbia Law School in 1967, and was associated with the New York law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison for seven years before joining Revlon. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Senetek since February 2002 and has been an independent consultant to Senetek since May 2002. Upon joining Senetek, Mr. Nichols steps down from the Board of Directors. This is in line with the Company's objective of achieving an independent Board.
