It's a real stretch of logic to think that America wants to dominate the world. Such notions make nice soundbites for the rabid protesters out there, but is hardly grounded in reality. Instead, it feeds the need to believe in some "conspiracy theory" in order to justify whatever cause you believe in.

I do fault Bush for making America such an easy target for "world" scorn (notice the quotes). But I don't consider many of the criticisms against America to be grounded in rationality. Why make it worse by joining the chorus who shouts "America is an imperialist"?
