Spoils of war: Washington Post reports generous political contributors, including Halliburton, still in line for special treatment on contracts to rebuild Iraq. Halliburton dropped out of the prime contractor designation because of its close and continuing association with Cheney. But Halliburton can be a subcontractor--perhaps even better because they're out of the headlines. The contracts will be administered by U.S. Agency for International Development, under the guise of aid to Iraq. (translation--aid for worthy friends and contributors)
