Really? So let's say there is a military policy that will lead to the death of 1000 Iraqi civilians but will save 50 American lives. Will you disapprove of it?

May be that is too close to home. Say there is a policy will save lives of 100,000 Italians, but will require 24 million Iraqis live in such poor conditions that their life expectancy will be sharply reduced. Will you object to that?

When the disparity is so wide, we are past the point of "I see them as equal but prefer these ones"; you are saying this is one class of humans, and that is another class all together. Call it whatever you want, second class humans will do just fine. In the end, you are not willing to value them even in the same ballpark as the rest.
