So I'm looking at Minneapolis Star Tibune, Friday March 14, 2003, Onstage, front page. Major corp version of this takes up most of top fold, about 10" wide:

The tree on the right is gone, that's how much they chopped off. Supplied them with as I said: 300 DPI, Standard, 5. Yummy looking repro. Rich black, vibrant colors, nothing lost in the shadows. And that's chit newsprint.

Donno, started with 8 since you gave me heads up, but 5 wasn't the pits, as far as I can tell.
